This paper infers the contribution of Zhang Yue and zhang Jiuling who made preparation for the boom of the Flourishing Tang dynasty in literature. They were all premiers. When Empire Xuan of Tang dynasty controlled the whole country, they not only recommended many junior scholars but also attached importance to the atmosphere of literature. They attributed two aspects of conserving literymen and changing aesthetic ideal. In the aspect of poems, they inherited the merit of four excellent poets and Chen Zi'ang, furthermore, went on developing. They minded elegance adding up to the issue of sarcasm and reduce ostentation on the base of absorbing its achievement. They selected a way in which both form and content were elevated on poems. In addition, on prose-writing, they minded the nature of ideology and abundant content and feeling which made bedding for the climax of the classic prose movement. Zhang Yue and Zhang Jiuling had dual identities which were premiers and alliances in the literary world. It appeared continuity on literary declaration and contribution. They became a bridge in the literature development from the Early to the Flourishing Tang dynasty.
