The Study On The Social Customs Of Henshui Zhang

The study is focused on the Zhang's writing characteristics of using the society as its l ongitude and the love story its latitude in his novels.The author also applied the content an alysis method to study the social customs of some major cities in the 1930 s and 1940 s that have been presented in Zhang's novels.The author has conducted the study according to th e writer's background and writing styles,the cities' environment,the customs and people's appearances and personalities.The result suggest that Zhang's description on city environ ment and folk customs has its own reginal characters and his writing on social customs,val ues and citizen's daily life reflect a stylized character.As a result,Zhang's novels has a cha racter of universality,which in a sense particularly reflect the social customs of Chinese pe ople from 1930 s to 1940 s and give values of his works both in history and sociology.Mean while,the attention to social customs has in a sense some effect on Zhang's work.His writi ng is closely related to average people's daily life,which shows various regional characteri stics.It much more satisfy the reading expectation of citizens.
