Bernard Shaw and Zhang Ailing is well-known writer in the history of literary.Zhang Ailing likes the dramas of Bernard Shaw, and always has been influenced byBernard Shaw. This article divided into five parts. Firstly it investigates the similarfamily background and life experiences of two authors. Secondly, it compares andanalyzes the articles of two authors from the from four perspectives of themes, narrativepoint of view, forms and artistic. Finally, it summarizes the same point and differencesbetween Zhang and Shaw.First, the theme point of the articles of two authors are similar. One theme is theperformance of the women’s vitality. The second is pretense for money.Secondly, the articles of two authors have adopted a rational narrative perspectivefor writing. George Bernard Shaw like to represent phenomena in the world of capitalistsociety with his calm and rational perspective, the dark reality of capitalist society weredeeply exposed. Zhang Ailing kept awake for cognitive and detached attitude, and wroteby this attitude and perspective for the creation, Her fictions performance worldly liferiddled love.Third, the articles of two authors also have fantastic ingredients. George BernardShaw expressed dissatisfaction and ironic by the way of absurdity, in order to achieveenlightenment function of social drama. The absurdity in Zhang Ailing’s fictions is in aperformance of Chinese people’s living condition, showing some kinds of Chinese peopleemptiness, boredom mental performance, revealing the person’s ’absurd’ existence.Last one is the artistic of irony. Shaw reversed by language and tactics irony to irony.Zhang Ailing is with a slight but is everywhere in the nothingness of human nature, with"anti-climax" of artistic techniques to express the emptiness of life were satire.
