With the coming of information age, man's method of production and life style are changing. People's individuality of consumption makes the market more and more subdivisible. Rapid and indeterminate change of market has become the main rhythm of information age. In order to survive and develop, enterprises must shorten product development cycle and satisfy client's demands to improve enterprises' flexibility and respondence capacity of variable market, this is a process of continuate innovation. So, enterprises begin to transform from Mass Production mode to Mass Customization mode.Product design for mass customization(DFMC) is a important trait of industrial design in information age. DFMC divides traditional product development into two parts. One is new product development, the other is rapid design. Now, product development process must include not only design and manufacture but also client, selling and service. By implementing product lifecycle management(PLM), enterprises can improve the capacity of customizing products which meet client's demands.
