Duffy Works Study

This paper is a case study of Dufy' s works. By studying Dufy's life, the author dissects three periods of Dufy Art. Meanwhile, by analyzing the expressive theme and the style structure of his works, the author reveals the typical characteristic of Dufy' s works梩he sense of joy, and deeply researches into the his age, society, and individual reason behind "Dufy Style" . Finally, it concludes that Dufy' s Art didn' t submerge by the strike of the upsurge of modern art. As Martins said, "the immortal of Dufy' s Art" demonstrates the request of human beings for the spirit of art, and for which could be various direction for the value of spirit, even in the same age.
