Raul Dufy's Watercolor Art Research

This paper discusses the Oriental charm in the watercolor creation of French brutalist painter raul.After continuous exploration of impressionism and cubism,raul du fei created the "du fei style",which is very similar to the modeling techniques,color effects and expression methods in eastern painting,and integrated traditional Chinese painting concepts,such as freehand expression,into his painting creation.In the first part of this thesis,the author explores the inner influence factors similar to orientalism in his works by exploring the life and personality of raul.The second part analyzes the reasons for the formation of his creative style from the European environment in which he lives.These internal and external reasons are all important elements for raul duffy to form his own creative style.From the third part,the important argument of this paper--the analysis of the Oriental verve of lauer dufei's watercolor is carried out,and the similarities between his watercolor creation and the Oriental art form are discussed from the aspects of composition,color and expression,etc.,in comparison with traditional Chinese painting,Japanese ukiyo-e painting and Persian close painting.And in the fourth part will be the "Oriental elements" raul duffy is created with other orientalist art style painters were analyzed,and the exploration to the distinction in the watercolor creation of European traditional painting's unique Oriental verve,belong to the beauty of the "special" in his works,then it is concluded that the creation of "special" is different from the other artists.The fifth part is the summary of the whole paper,summarizing the influence of Mr.Lauer duffy on later painters and my future creation.By learning the unique artistic thinking of this great painter,I have had a deeper thinking--to create my own artistic expression,which provides me with more innovative creative methods for my future study and creation.
