Ancient women's creation is an important part of ancient literature.Perhaps their works are not many, but they are a vivid display of the ancient women's mental process, and we can also rely on the works to analyze their living conditions.Their literary classics are very rare, but they make the whole history of ancient women's creation shining.Ancient female writers and their works have been highly valued in modern times, but there are few studies on their classic works. This paper takes the classical literary works that created by ancient women as the research object, and will discuss the classical course of ancient women's literary works. This thesis consists of five parts:The introduction part introduces the reason why this thesis selected the topic, carries on the concept appraisal to the classics, canonization, the literature classics, the feminine literature classics. This part also discusses the current situation of classical studies on ancient women's literary works in academic circles, and explains the value of this topic, research ideas and so on.The first chapter examines the changes of the creation process of ancient female literature classics, and selects the ancient male classics as reference analysis to illustrate the quantity and quality of female classics. The classical works of ancient women's literature are keeping pace with men in artistic achievements, but the number of works is far less than that of them.we need to search the social background that their used to live if we want to know the causes of this phenomenon. The women in the feudal society are the oppressed groups, and under the influence of social culture for a long time, they have consciously accepted the roles that men gave them. They were willing to become good wives and good mothers, and they payed little attention to creation because they firmly believed that “a woman without talent is virtuous”.The Ming and Qing Dynasties were the times of the feudal etiquette, although many women were committed to writing at that time, the limitation of their own thinking affected the quality of their creation.Besides, the lack of attention to the excellent works at that time led to the lack of classics. The second chapter mainly discusses the internal and external causes of the ancient female works' canonical process.First of all,the classic characteristics of ancient femal works is the internal cause of its becoming classic. These characteristics include critical, female psychology, innovation, emotion and artistic charm. They notonly show the unique perspective and artistic thinking of women, but also help achieving the transcendence of women's works. From the perspective of external causes, cultural education is the precondition of their literary creation. The activities of literary criticism have expanded the interpretable space of the works and enabled the readers to obtain more aesthetic pleasure, which is extremely beneficial to the promotion of the works. Both the readers' love of the works and their literary re-creation activities have further established and consolidated the classical position of the works.Chapter three selects four female writers as the representatives of the case study, including Ban Jieyu,Cai Yan,Li Qingzhao and Zhu Shuzhen. The four women writers were talented but ill-fated.Although their works are very distinctive, the process of classics is not all plain sailing. The author makes a detailed analysis of the classical process of the four writers' works, and tries to show the regularity of the classicalization of ancient women's works through the case study. The conclusion summarizes the reasons that influence the canonization of ancient women's works, and expounds the important significance of ancient female classics in the history of ancient literature.
