Fu Wen And Novel Style Formation

The novel is the art coming into being in the adulthood period of human race. In the course of evolvement, the form ,of Chinese ancient novels have been affected by many other pre-existed literary styles. The relationship between Chinese ancient novels and many other pre-existed literary styles such as history , philosophy and anecdotes in the Chinese ancient notebooks has been discussed by many scholars. As to the relationship between Chinese ancient novels and the literary style of fu in Han dynasty, many scholars have focused on it, but deep research has never been made. The paper is intended to discuss the important role of fu played in the course of evolvement and writing of Chinese ancient novels.In addition to the introduction and the supplemental discussion, the paper falls into four parts:The introduction includes the background of the topic, the concept and evolvement of the literary style of fu, and the composing of fu by novelists.Chapter 1 discusses the narrative and character's portrayal in fu and the effects on Chinese ancient novels.Chapter2 discusses the relationship between the characteristic of expatiation of fu and Chinese ancient novels.Chapter3 aims at the effects of fu's characteristic of the attitude of writing for leisure on Chinese ancient novels.Chapter4 discusses the cases of the fu applying into Chinese ancient novels.The supplemental part discusses the effects on Chinese ancient BaiHua novels.
