A Study On Word Formation Of Panzhihua Dialect

Panzhihua City is the southward gateway from Sichuan Province to Yunnan Province,bordering Huili,Dechang and Yanyuan counties of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province to the east and north,and Ninglang,Huaping and Yongren counties of Yunnan Province to the west and south.The Panzhihua dialect belongs to the small piece of Liangshan in the western Sichuan dialect of Sichuan.Panzhihua dialect is rich in words,due to its special geographical location,influenced by the southwest official dialect Chengyu dialect and Yunnan piece of Yunnan small dialect,compared with the southwest official dialect represented by Chengdu dialect,there are special morphological changes,there are also a large number of unique dialect words,but the Panzhihua dialect word formation method has not been systematically studied.Guided by the theory of word formation,this paper attempts to analyze and present the overall picture of the word formation method of Panzhihua dialect by describing the categories and word formation methods of Panzhihua dialect,and examines and interprets some dialect words,which is conducive to enriching the vocabulary system of Panzhihua dialect and revealing the particularity of word formation in Panzhihua dialect.Mastering the word formation method of Panzhihua dialect can provide certain ideas for the language collation work in Panzhihua area and the research on the use characteristics and development trends of the local dialect.The whole paper has eight parts,the first is the introduction,which mainly explains the geographical location,population construction and other conditions of Panzhihua City,the research status of word formation and dialect word formation,and expounds the research value of word formation in Panzhihua dialect and the research content and research methods of this paper.At the same time,the phonology of Panzhihua dialect is also described,and the characteristics of vowel,vowel,tone and phonological coordination of Panzhihua dialect are sorted out and summarized.The second part discusses the phonological means of word formation in the Panzhihua dialect,and discusses it from two aspects: variable reading and onomatopoeia.Among them,there are three types of variable speech formations:conjunction,different reading of text,and change of tone of words;Onomatopoeia is divided into two types according to the simulated object,and the classification and comparative study of Mandarin onomatopoeia and Panzhihua dialect onomatopoeia are carried outThe third part analyzes the morphological means of the Panzhihua dialect,describes the overlapping and additional word formation methods with regional characteristics in the Panzhihua dialect,and then explores the particularity of the morphological means of the Panzhihua dialect.In the Panzhihua dialect,overlapping word formation is classified according to the overlapping part of speech,and there are three categories: overlapping word formation of nouns,overlapping construction of verbs and overlapping construction of adjectives;The additive word formation method has three types of prefixes,midfixes and suffixes according to the position of the affix,and there is also a class of affixes that have certain producibility but are not completely blurred.The fourth part analyzes the syntactic means of word formation in the Panzhihua dialect,and discusses the five forms of word formation in the Panzhihua dialect:juxtaposition,subject-verb,bias,verb-object,and narrative complement.The fifth part analyzes the rhetorical device word formation in the Panzhihua dialect and summarizes the three main rhetorical devices in the Panzhihua dialect.The specific content includes three categories: figurative word formation,borrowed pronoun word formation,and euphemistic word formation.The sixth part is a synchronic comparison of the vocabulary of the Panzhihua dialect and the vocabulary of the two dialects that moved into the county.From the comparison of astronomical geography,character titles,seasonal farming,animals and plants,daily life and other six types of words,it is found that the Panzhihua dialect vocabulary is affected by the dialects of the two counties,and in the quantitative analysis of the words,the paper finds that the influence of Huili County in Sichuan on the Panzhihua dialect is greater than that of Huaping County in Yunnan,and the vocabulary of the Panzhihua dialect is affected by geographical location and regional development,and has different biases in the choice of word use.The seventh part is the conclusion of the thesis,which summarizes several main word-forming methods in the Panzhihua dialect,compares the Panzhihua dialect with the vocabulary of the neighboring two provinces that moved to the county from the perspective of synchronic time,sorts out and interprets the original characters of some dialect words from the perspective of diachronic time,tries to explain the characteristics of the word-forming method of the Panzhihua dialect,and summarizes the shortcomings of the paper.
