A Systematic Study On The Configuration Of Wangshan Bamboo Slips

Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips is a local variant of Chinese characters that belongs to the middle period of the Warring States Period.Its rich shape and its regional characteristics have an important effect on the comprehensive study of the Warring States period characters.In this paper,the structure system of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips characters is taken as the research object,and Mr.Wang Ning’s theory of Chinese character morphology is used as a guide.Combined with computer application technology,this paper mainly consists of four words: collation,configuration,conception,and configuration system.The aspect describes the basic features of the structure system of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips.It tries to provide some material support for studying the characters of the Warring States Period and analyzing the evolution of Chinese characters.The full text is divided into three parts:the introduction,the main body of the thesis,and the conclusion,including four chapters.The introduction mainly introduces the status quo of the research on Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips,points out the feasibility and research value of the research in this article,and then explains the research methods such as collation and induction,quantitative analysis,and comparative analysis adopted by this article.According to the collation and analysis,there are relatively few research results on the characters of the Warring States Period.The study of the Chu characters of Wangshan Chu may further improve the research results of the region,and may also provide some use cases for the interpretation of ancient characters.The first chapter discusses the collation of simple words in Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips.Text collation is the basis for qualitative and quantitative analysis.As part of the Warring States Period,Wangshan Chu Bamboo Syllabary is rich in different characters and heterogeneous characters.From the existing data,we sorted out a total of 500 unique words,8 combined words,and 28 suspicious words.For the single-letter glyphs of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips text,see Appendix 1.The second chapter analyzes the formation of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips.Direct components and basic components are the main configuration units.The direct component is the component that directly forms the Chinese character,and it is the part that reflects the meaning of the Chinese character.There are 336 direct components in Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips.The basic component is the smallest unit in the component,also known as the shape element.The configuration structure can be divided into two parts: configuration level and combination mode.The configuration level can be divided into a physical layer and a functional layer.The physical layer is the surface layer,and the functional layer can be obtained by analyzing the structural functions of the layer.The combination mode is the composition method of the text.There are 9 combination modes in Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips characters.The third chapter elaborates the construction of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips.Connotation is the linguistic meaning embodied by glyph symbols and the intention of the creator of the word,and is an important part of the formation system.But with the evolution of Chinese characters,the conception also changed.According to the characteristics of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips,it can be divided into three cases:inheritance of reasons,partial loss of reasons,and complete loss of reasons.Among them,most of the characters inherited the characteristics of the inscriptions in the Spring and Autumn Period,while a small number of characters were mutated,leading to the phenomenon of "unclear meaning".The fourth chapter describes the overall appearance of the structure system of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips and summarizes its development.The structure of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips characters is at least zero and at most three,most of which are on the first or second level.Compared with Oracle and Bronze inscriptions,the configuration is more complicated;for Xiao Yan,it is relatively simple.In the combined mode,Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips characters are at the most sound-synthetic characters,that is,pictophonetic characters,which shows the tendency of the pictophonetic characters after the voicing component is involved.Inthe synchronic and diachronic comparison,it is concluded that the simple configuration elements,configuration attributes and configuration system of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips are in the process of perfection,and they are more optimized and mature than the previous writing system.The conclusion is a summary of the content of the previous chapters.The number of single characters in Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips is summarized,and the characteristics of the structure system of Wangshan Chu Bamboo Slips are summarized.Through the discussion of this article,I hope to provide some material support for the interpretation of the characters of the Warring States Period and the analysis of the development and evolution of Chinese characters.At the same time,I also hope that I can contribute to improve the theory of morphology.
