Study Of China's Modern Agriculture Through Science And Technology Thought

China was evovling from ancient times to modern times after the Opium War. So was agriculture. Chinese people advocated strongly agriculture to be modernized .They believed that science and technology is the most effective magic weapon in agricultural modernization. So they suggessted that government applied science and technology in the richest land in the world The purpose of this thesis is to increase people' s acknowledgement about modem agriculture ideas through comprehensively analyzing the ideas of agriculture-developed with science and technology in modern times.The thesis contains three parts.The first part is about evolution and reason of the ideas of modern agriculture-developed with science and technology.lt was produced from the realists and formed from the reformers and integrated from Sun Zhong-shan.The evolution of the ideas origined from the demand of reality and the effect of ideas element.The second part is to discuss main content of the ideas of modern agriculture-developed with science and technology. The ideas was consist of labour object and labourer and labour tools and labour guide. Labour object contain water engineering and reform of seed and usage of land.About labour tools Chinese people discussed lengthly the magical function of machine in agriculture.With regard to labourer they deal with the agricultural education play an indispensible role in agricultural labour.In terms of labour guide they think that government had to be responsible for the conduct of science and technology of agriculture ,moreover,they appeal to government to build up theagriculture association in order to guide more effectively .The third part is to discuss the characteristic and value of ideas of modern agriculture-developed with science and technology.lt was characteristic of integration Western into.Chinese.In theory the ideas can open a new road guide for agriculture in China,however,to one's pity,the low level of science and technology of agriculture in China has not promoved at all although Chinese people advocated extensively.
