Tao Yuanming's "serenity" Theory

In Chinese traditional culture,serenity is looked upon as tiptop of artistic conception can reached.The serenity theory of the poetics put forward initially by Mr.Zhu-guangqian consideres that a serenity beauty is topmost ideality in poem.But his theory is surrounded with some debate.This paper elaborates serenity category in three parts .With the angle of view about serenity debate,the first part analyses the essence of debate combined background of age and individuality of main body. Closely encircling the category ,the second part discusses from the following aspects:thinking,skill and style.At last,this part expoundes the spirit of traditional culture refracted by serenity theory.
