"xunzi" Sentence Investigated

The sentence tyPe of Xunzi is rather various and abundant, itreflects the states of Chinese in the end of the Warring States Period.In this paPer, I attemPt to indentify and discribe some of thegrammartical forms, including the positional relation, the srmrerule, the syntactic function, which have been discussed inGrammatical History of Chinese, established byWangLi. Moreovef,we also investigated the traditional probiems of double --object clauseof ancient Chinese, in order to find out the design feature of predicateconstruction.
