Students Perfectionism, Subjective Well-being Of Internet Addiction

In order to enrich the theory of perfectism and explore the relationship of perfectism, subjective well-being and internet addiction, The study adopted self-edited questionaire to investigate the condition of perfectism in college students, it can provide some new points for the prevention and improvement of internet addiction, promote physical and mental health of college students, and has certain application value for ideological and political education and mental health education in university.Self-edited questionaire in this study collected some subjects which are relevant to perfectism via documentation method, questionaire survey, interviewing method and integrated research achivements from domestic and overseas scholars. The participants are random selected from Gannan normal university, Gannan medic university , Jiangxi vocational and technical college of application. The questionaire includes personal information, self-edited questionaire of perfectism, LSIB and IAII with standard instruction. The experimenters are psychological postgraduate students and trained investigators, participants should finish the questionaire on the spot anonymously. The study has a total of 850 questionairss and recovered 650 valid questionaires. Data analysis with SPSS 13.0 and refer to mean value, T test, variance analysis, correlation analysis, stepwise regression analysis and other statistical method. The research conclusions are following:1.The self-edited questionare of perfectism includes six dimensions with good reliability and validity , they are logic, high standard to one-self, strict requirement, regard highly to others'requests, introspection and self-evaluation, and perfect expection.2.The level of perfectism in college students are above medium as a whole. Male college students notable above female college students in the total score of the questionare, high standard to one-self, strict requirement and introspection and self-evaluation. The only child are markedly lower than the non-only child in the score of logic. The college students from countryside notable higher than the city's college students in logic and regard highly to others'requests. The college students in different grade have no difference in perfectism. In different discipline, special majors, such as physical education and art, are markedly higher than libral arts in strict requirement. In the score level of perfectism questionaire and the dimension of high standard to one-self, the college students who have high self-appraisal acdemic record are higher than that have general or minor self-apprasisal acdemic record, but the latter markedly higher than the former in the dimension of. The undergraduates are notable higer than junior college students in the scores and the dimensions of high standard to one-self, strict requirement and introspection and self-evaluation.3.There are significant correlation among subjective well-being, perfectism and internet addiction in college students. A notable negative correlation was found between the subjective well-being and perfectism and internet addiction, it means low level subjective well-being and high level perfectism cause high level internet addiction. A significant positive correlation was found between perfectism and internet addiction, high level perfectism lead high tendency of internet addiction.4.Mesomeric effect test shows that subjective well-being have directly to do with internet addiction, and it can affect the internet addiction with metavariable of perfectism.
