Research On Internet Gaming Addiction Of College Students

With the continuous progress of science and technology,China has entered the era of digital information.The rapid development of online information makes the life and learning of college students more convenient and faster,and at the same time brings more entertainment methods to their leisure life.Among them,online games are unique in their entertainment,virtuality,and diversity.And interaction is accepted by more and more college students.With the continuous updating of online games,the phenomenon of college students addicted to online games has become more and more serious.Internet game addiction has had a serious impact on college students 'learning and life.To explore the current situation and causes of college students 'online game addiction is helpful to help college students effectively prevent and correct online game addiction.In order to understand the current situation and causes of College Students' addiction to online games,this paper takes 601 students from 7 universities in Wuhan as the research object,and adopts the method of questionnaire and interview to analyze the current situation and causes of College Students' addiction to online games.The results of data analysis show that there are significant differences in the following aspects among college students' online game addicts: male students are more than female students;there are dynamic changes in grade;professional aspects: science and engineering academics are more likely to be addicted to online games than liberal arts students;whether they have left-behind children experience or not: universities with left-behind children experience Students are more likely to be addicted to online games;game types: college students with online game addiction tend to use competitive games;game purposes: college students with online game addiction tend to relax,make new friends and spend time;game companions: college students with game addiction are mainly game friends and college roommates;Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire analysis,this study conducted in-depth psychological interviews with 8 college students addicted to online games throughpurposeful sampling.Through in-depth interviews to dig deeper into the problem of College Students' addiction to online games,this paper explores college students' addiction to online games from three aspects: growth background,university management system and college students' psychology.It is found that the reasons behind college students' addiction to online games are: unhappy childhood experience,professional differences,rigid school education system,group influence,negative values,emotional catharsis,psychological needs and other reasons.According to the results of data analysis and in-depth interviews on College Students' online game addiction,this paper chooses the perspective of digital citizenship to give relevant countermeasures and suggestions on College Students' online game addiction:publicizing the concept of digital citizenship,improving citizens' digital literacy;optimizing the online game industry,establishing a harmonious digital environment;cultivating college students' online security Consciousness,self-responsibility awareness,critical ability to use information technology;Establishment of family network security guidelines to create a harmonious family atmosphere.Through the combination of home and school,the problem of College Students' addiction to online games can be effectively prevented and corrected.
