Shi Tao (1630-1724) as a famous painter and a monk living in late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty of China went on travelling around of the country through his lifetime. At the early age, he once lived in Guangxi,Hunan and Hubei and had toured around Dongting Lake and Kuanglu such places of interesting, then he tripped to Zhejiang and Anhui. In the mid age, he moved to Nanjing, the capital of Jiansu Province and had ever arrived Yanjing(Beijing). Late age of his life, he settled in Yangzhou. According to the experience of a lifetime trip home of Shi Tao, the article divides his painting style stages of his journey of the exploration into four main periods, namely: Xuancheng period, the period of Nanking, Beijing and Yangzhou period. Shi Tao's painting style closely relates to the living situation of his life as well as his travelling in his lifetime.During living in Xuancheng Shitao stated that painting should "get the Vigor" that is soul to pen and ink among the ink from the discharge pregnant, one of the painting thought. He stressed that the brush to paint "the will of Xiang style is the law"attaches to the art of originality; at the same time, he also emphasized the artist should be used in the creation of the ink, which means they see fit to draw on the wider world of aesthetic experience.The fifteen years of travelling in Xuancheng can be regarded as a milestone in Shi Tao's life long painting.In this time, Shi Tao and all the friends painted and discussed together. They indulged roaming and made in-depth observation in Huangshan which makes his paintings becoming more sophisticated and drawing his aesthetics increasingly more profound. So, this period makes his a good foundation for his fine art painting life.This article includes introduction, body chapters, conclusion and photos, schedule and totally ten parts.In the introduction chapter, the first issue focuses on the question of the origin and significance of the study, analyzing research situation and proposed methods to resolve these issues and research aspects of the academic value and significance analysis. The second chapter makes a clear definition of the scope of the start and the end for the Xuancheng period. And this chapter contains two sections, the first section clears the beginning and ending during the era Xuancheng and the second one comes to analyze the experience of Shitao's painting. Chapter III specifically analyzes Shitao's whereabouts in Xuancheng. This chapter also divides into two sections, the first one focuses on the tour of Huangshan and Huangshan and the great impact to Shi Tao's creation; and the second focuses on travelling experience from Xuancheng to Jing Feng Sheng Temple and then to Jingxian. The fourth chapter in Xuancheng period and Xuancheng Shi Tao Painting and Calligraphy Friendship Society to explore the many celebrities, mainly of Shi Tao in Xuancheng fifteen years time, a friend who met Mei Qing, Mei Geng and friends Painting experience and its impact. The content of chapter V content for the famous in Xuancheng period painting and theoretical achievement.This chapter includes two,section 1 analysis the painting achievement of the famous Xuancheng period style characteristic and painting.This section is divided into two parts,the first part analysis the painting achievement of the famous Xuancheng period,the second part of the famous Xuancheng period analysis painting style characteristics.The second section analysis theory of famous Xuancheng period achievements.Among them the fires part analysis"I own my law"reasons,and the second part analysis "I own my law" theoretical connotation and its practical sighificance..Chapter VI summarizes the discussion during Xuancheng period that has great positive impact to Shi Tao's painting. Finally, based on existing data the author summarizes and organizes some important information of Shitao and uses the form of drawings and schedules attached to the text.
