This thesis studies for the causes, nature of "caos" and gives more comprehensive understanding to the whole development of the thread of music, which comes from the politic economic; culture and history of Han and Wei dynasties. At the same time, it combines with the research achievements of forefathers and develops new research field of "cao" music ideas.It is divided into six chapters, three parts. The first two chapters are the first part, the background is culture of Han and Wei, and the three led the whole social and cultural currents with their special identity position. Their music thoughts had a decisive impact on the ideas of that time and later time. More importantly, they stood for the cultural identity of the whole dynasties and promoted a cultural progress of music.Chapter three, chapter four and five are the second part and are also the main point of this thesis. This part differently based on their literal art practice. It also analysis their artistic creation. From the content, form and work style with the time and personal experiences and make a concrete analysis in chapters to Cao Cao, Cao Zhi and Cao Pi. And severally reached the "Three Caos" arctic ideas.With combining of music and literary works, Cao Cao wrote a lot of poems which contented completely his musical ideas in his form. He liked this musical form and promoted common music. There are twenty poems which all are in this form leaving for us now. His creations were in the spirit of confusion thoughts and disregarded the political services of it. They emphasized the musical entertainment and impressed individual feelings as well. Cao Cao also admired the beauty of the musical form. In practices, he broke the rules of old music and speech problem closely. His music conservatively grew by a strict accordance with the old problems with new words and there were still new things increased without damaging the music or expression. These creations of form and content were new and sometimes Cao Cao even at the expense of adjusting its contents in its musical forms. It is embodied that his music catalogued to stress the importance of art, music content and formed a unified view of music. His music based on confusion though, and this made him became the great cultural heritage and propagator of it. Meanwhile, the family, taoism, and durability and simple idea influcenced him differently. All of these commonly formed his ideological system. At present, the poems of Cao Pi are more forty and most of them are in the form of musical and classical. All of his poems are colourful. He also liked common music and this had a influence on his creation. More of his works impressed personal sorrow views with feelings except for those realist works of feelings by things. He especially emphasized on individual emotion. What's more, he also paid attention to the music content. In order to make his poems close to the expression of folk songs, he descended the conservatory of musical poem. This literal reform was the result of accepting the folk poetry's impact and rule. And his creation equally emphasized the beauty of musical form. From these we can see that Cao Pi emphasized the individual impression during his practice and liked poems with musical beauty. When he chose the words he paid attention to the beauty of form and therefore unified the content and form of musical poems. He also inherited and developed the same confusion ideas. At the same time, his works "Dianlun" gave a general justice to his poems on the value, the spirit and the style. From these it also can be seen that he had a deep thought of confusion ideas and artistic taste.Cao Zhi who was outstanding poetry with very high talent in literary and music, left over eighty poems to us. Although most of these poems had not been in music, they changed from the old musical poem. However, his poems were also influenced by folk music. His general ideas belonged to confusion thoughts and the influence of it was more than his farther and brother. His poems faced the fact or impressed his feeling directly, especially focused on the importance of individual personality and emotion. Meanwhile, based on near shore songs of folk music, he created a more beautiful and smooth poems by a series of refers. This point helped to develop confusion thoughts. It paid attention to the content and form so that both of them were perfectly united. The last half part of his life was away from the political center because of the political oppression of Cao Pi and Cao Rui. So his confusion thoughts of harmonious world could not be applied. Thus, he tried to shake off the dilemma by the thoughts of Buddhist to save his soul with Buddhist songs. Therefore, he created Buddhist music "Yushan Music". It combined Buddhist and Chinese Sanskrit into each other. At the same time, he improved the Buddhist Songs with Chinese folk music elements.Chapter six is the third part. This part mainly discussed the "Three Caos'" musical thoughts of great significance. The sergeant of their special position and literary talent of the times led the whole Han and Wei dynasties literature and art and aesthetics. Their music creation inherited the individual spirit of responses social facts and active personality to make contributions and achievements to the society. At the same time, they changed the form and content of folk songs which made it become the most perfect toward gorgeous in content and form. Around them were many poets of their local place. These people came along their thoughts and created a lot of excellent poems. Taking "Three Caos'" for their leaders, the group of poets grew bigger and seven ports as their represents. So they developed rapidly. Jian'an musical and literal art and formed a standing cultural spirit. All of these had an important influence on the development of music, literary and art to present and later ages.
