Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes Is Hot And Humid Trapped Spleen And Il-6 In Relationship Research

Purpose:To study the relationship between interleukin-6(IL-6) and the newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus with Dampness-Heat Encumbering the Spleen and the relationship between overweight and IL-6.In order to elucidate its Traditional Chinese Medicine pathologic mechanism from the viewpoint of hypoinflammation in T2DM,aim to search for an objective index to improve Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome typing,guiding and facilitating the prevention and treatment on T2DM with Dampness-Heat Encumbering the Spleen by Traditional Chinese Medicine.Subject and method:The plasma levels of IL-6 are detected by radio immunoa- ssay for 40 patients with the newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (Damp- ness-Heat Encumbering the Spleen 10 cases and the deficiency of Qi and Yin 10 cases) and 10 healthy adults.The changes of body mass index (BMI), waist-hip ratio (WHR) were observed and analyzed in each group.Results:1.The level of IL-6 in blood plasma of patients with the newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus are obviously higher than that in normal group(P<0.01).2.Dampness-Heat Encumbering the Spleen with overweight are obviously higher than that of the deficiency of Qi and Yin(P<0.01).Conclusion:The higher IL-6 and overweight maybe as the parts pathology essence in the newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus with Dampness-Heat Encumbering the Spleen.
