Objective:Chronic sinusitis - nasal polyps were treated with functional endoscopic sinus surgery than conventional medication plus oral chrysanthemum Tong Sheng Tang, symptoms, signs of improvement, recording sinus surgery secretions, edema, vesicles, granulation and polyp regeneration, adhesion and the surgical cavity cleaning time, epithelial aging time, and with the conventional treatment group as control, evaluation of its efficacy.Methods:Patients met the inclusion criteria will be 106 cases, based on the principle of stochastic control, divided into treatment group and control group. Conventional treatment group after giving intravenous antibiotics, local corticosteroid spray, saline irrigation and to Daisy Tong Sheng Tang oral. Control group was given intravenous antibiotics, corticosteroids local spraying, saline wash. Were followed up for 3 months, endoscopic observation of nasal mucosa with the outcome healing. Degree of postoperative symptoms were recorded changes in nasal cavity epithelium of cleanliness and time to change the situation, by statistical analysis of treatment efficacy evaluation.Results:Two groups of gender, age, duration and type staging data were generally no statistically significant difference, comparable. After treatment, comparing the treatment group operative cavity secretions, edema, vesicles, granulation and polyp regeneration, adhesion and other than the control group was significantly reduced, the total effective rate was 93.2% in the control group the total effective rate was 87.1% The difference was statistically significant (p<0.05); the treatment group, the average surgical cavity epithelization time, cleaning time is better than the control group. The difference was statistically significant (p<0.05).Conclusion:According to clinical observations show that chrysanthemum Tong Sheng Tang functional endoscopic sinus surgery in the post-application, can be more effective in promoting and accelerating cavity mucosa of patients can more effectively eliminate mucous membrane swelling, promote blood circulation, promote absorption of secretions promote mucosal regeneration and repair, speed epithelialization and promotes mucociliary clearance, protection and restoration of its own defense capabilities, sinus surgery can significantly reduce cleaning time, epithelial of time, symptoms and signs clear, significant effect .
