Acupoint Sticking Therapy Alpine Blockage Type Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinical Observation And Cia Rats Experimental Study

Purpose:To study the effect of points-application on the rheumatoid arthritis clinic and on rats serum RF and IL-18 in collagenⅡinduced arthritis (CIA) rats.Material and method:1. clinical observation:58 cases of RA patients who meet the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. The two groups were given the treatment with Leflunomide tablets, but the treatment group with point-application therapy, either. To compare major symptoms such as joint pain, swelling, activity, adverse and time of morning stiffness and signs score changes and the clinical efficacy with ones before the treatment after continuous treatment for three years between the two groups.2.animal experiment: Prepare CIA rats and group them on random, and treat them by point-application, medication (Methotrexate), etc. Test the RF and IL-18 in rat's serum by radioimmunoassay.Results:1. clinical observation:Clinical remission 7 cases, apparent remission 12 cases, effective 9 cases, no effect 2 cases, 93.33% of the total effectiveness in treatment group; clinical remission 3 cases, apparent remission 8 cases, effective 13 cases, no effect 4 cases, 85.71% of the total effectiveness in control group, which indicating significant difference in comparison(P<0.05). And the four primary efficacy index scores have been improved between the two groups after the treatment, which showed significant differences(P<0.05或P<0.01),and which were improved more significantly in the treatment group (P <0.01)。2.animal experiment: Only use point-application group,Methotrexate group or point-application combine with Methotrexate group can get an excellent effect on rats arthritic,and levels of RF and IL-18 in the serum decline significantly. Use the point-application combine with Methotrexate group can get a better curative effect than only use point-application group or Methotrexate group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of point-application with Qufeng Qiangshen San and of oral Leflunomide tablets is better than that of Leflunomide only. In animal experiments Point-a application with Qufeng Qiangshen San play an important role in controlling the typeⅡcollagen-induced arthritis rat's condition through inhibiting IL-18, and can also get a better curative effect combine with the Anti-rheumatic drugs.
