Objective and Significance: Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a chronic, systemic autoimmune disease characterized by chronic inflammation, abnormal immune response and increased synovial fluid in joints, which can involve multiple organs, organs and tissues. At present, western medicine treatment is mainly drug treatment, but long-term use of this kind of Western medicine has greater side effects on the human body, and the poor compliance of patients with simple use of Western medicine treatment is also a part of clinical treatment can not be ignored.Traditional Chinese medicine has its unique advantages in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and is gradually accepted by clinical practice, but the mechanism of its treatment of RA still needs to be further explored. The purpose of this paper is to explore the mechanism of Qufeng Decoction in the treatment of RA patients,to explore its effect on adjuvant arthritis(AA)rats, and to observe the efficacy and safety of Qufeng Decoction in the treatment of RA patients,so as to provide reliable basis for clinical practice.Research methods: Clinical study: 60 patients with RA who met the inclusion criteria were selected. The effect of Qufeng Decoction on the therapeutic and safety indexes of RA patients was observed by comparing the experimental group with the control group.Experimental study: To observe the therapeutic effect of Qufeng Decoction on AA rats:(1)Pharmacodynamics of anti-inflammation: The anti-inflammatory effect of Qufeng Decoction was observed by rat paw edema method, and the plantar thickness was measured every 3 days before gastric administration.(2)Effect of Qufeng Decoction on serology of rat model: On the 9th day,the rats were executed to take blood and observe the expression of CRP,IL-6 and TNF-alpha in serum.(3)HE staining was performed on the right ankle joint of rats to observe the inflammatory cell infiltration of synovium in each group. Results:Clinical study: The experimental group(Qufeng Decoction plus methotrexate group and GC)and the control group(methotrexate group and GC)showed that the experimental group had better curative effect than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant;the abnormal rate of liver and kidney function, blood routine and other safety indicators in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.Animal experiments:(1)Anti-inflammatory pharmacodynamics: the thickness of soles in Qufeng Decoction group was less than that in model group, which was statistically significant;there was no significant difference between Qufeng Decoction group and hormone group, and there was no statistical significance.(2)Serology: CRP blank model group was higher than normal group, hormone group and Qufeng Decoction group were lower than blank model group,Qufeng Decoction group and hormone group had no significant difference,IL-6,TNF-alpha expression blank model group was higher than normal group, hormone group was lower than blank model group,Qufeng Decoction group and hormone group had no significant difference.(3)Histopathology: The infiltration degree of inflammatory cells in Qufeng Decoction group and hormone group was lower than that in blank model group.Conclusion:(1)Qufeng Decoction combined with traditional treatment can improve the clinical remission rate of RA,indicating that Qufeng Decoction has a definite therapeutic effect on RA patients.(2)Qufeng Decoction can reduce the abnormal probability of safety indicators, indicating that Qufeng Decoction has a certain role in reducing toxicity, which is a prominent advantage of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of RA.(3)Qufeng Decoction can inhibit the swelling of AA rats and reduce thelevels of CRP,IL-6 and TNF-alpha in AA rats. This may be one of the basic links of Qufeng Decoction in the treatment of RA.
