Agreat mounts of clinical facts have proved that acupuncture and moxibustion treatment as apart of traditionanl Chinese medicine is effective.its wholly and steadystate superiority is gradually approved. but the acupuncture and moxibustion mechanism explanation still paused in the traditional theory foundation.The traditional Chinese Medicine explain that acupuncture and moxibustion can raise the healthy tendency of the organism and elimate the sick tendency。According to modern medicine, acupuncture can strengthen the immune system of the organism.the explaination can not give a satisfied solution. our experiment try to explain the regulation of acupuncture and moxibustion and to explore the mechanism of preventing and controlling disease,synthesize the mico and the macro system,from the point that acupunture and moxibustion awholly adjustment of Interleukin-1(IL-1),Tumor necrosis factor (TNF-a)prosta-glandin E2(PGE2)Aquaporinl (AQP1).Our experiment at the earlier period experiment foundation, continue to observe the acupuncture and moxibustion to adjuvant arthritis (AA)model rat's influence and more clearly interpret the specialty of acupuncture and moxibustion function. the experiment take the (Adjuvant arthritis, AA) as pathogenicfactor and recourse to the treatment of elctro-acupunture and moxibustion, Through examining the level of cell factors such as IL-1 (Interleukin-1),TNF-a (Tumor necrosis factor),PGE2 (prosta-glandin E2),AQP1 (Aquaporin1),to analyse the correlation variation mechanism between the inflammatory cell factor IL-1,TNF-αand PGE2,AQP1.During the adjustinging course of acupuncture and moxibution, we observe the approach different characteristics in the end.The experiment uses male Wistar rat 45, randomly divided into 9 groups:The normal group (shortened form control group):Model group:the adjuvant arthritis model needle group (shortened form the AA model needle group) the adjuvant arthritis model moxibustion group (shortened form the AA model moxibustion group). Needle group:AA needle Baihui group, AA needle Guanyuan group, AA needle Zusanli group. Moxibustion group:AA moxibustion guanyuan group, AA moxibustion baihui group, AA moxibustion zusanli group.1.Acupuncture and moxibustion could adjust the immune system of the organism and the electro-acupunture is superior to moxbustion in the aspect of anti-inflammation,detumescence and analgesia. the function of acupuncture and moxibustionshould should be realized by wholly adjustment of the neuro-endocrine-immune network。acupuncture can cause the AA rat joint to be red, to swell,symptom and so on reduce, the joint swelling rate reduce。under the microscope observes the joint synovium inflammation cell to infiltrate obviously reduces, articular cartilage structure integrity. the reduced inflammation to seep out, promotion diffusate absorption, suppression inflammationreaction2. The acupuncture can lead the left foot which the AA rats secondary swelling rate to reduce, prompts the acupuncture to be able to reduce the organism to secondary response degree, to the organism hyperfunction immune response function.3. The acupuncture and moxibustion can relieve the swelling degree of the Inflammatory reaction through the dual control action to the rat blood serum IL-1,TNF-α,PGE2,AQP1 1level.4 Acupuncture can regulate the level of PGE2 in the serum.through downregulating the level of IL-1, TNF-αand could control the PGE2 expression in the body.This approach could mediated inflammatory response and play the role of anti-inflammatory analgesic,to reduce the adverse stimulation on the body caused by injury, enhance the body's anti-injury ability. During the process of the inflammatory response.the high expression of IL-1 and TNF-a could obviously suppress the active of AQP1and down regulate the permeability of the water through the cytomembrane.5. The acupunture and moxibustion could adjust the activity of the AQPl,the result of our experiment reveal that the inflammation cell factor of the AA model rats and the activity of the AQP1 shows negative correlation. The influence of acupoints and moxibustion affection on the AQP1 also reflects the acupoints specific characteristics.the acupoint of zusanli is superior to guanyuan and baihui in the area of adjustment of AQP1in the Adjuvant arthritis rat.From the above, different stimulation outside acting on the organism reflects different effects.As a benign stressor, acupoints and moxibustion play an important part i n the steady adjustment of neuro-endocrine-immune network.. the function of acupoints and moxibustion manifest different characteristic.the impact of acupuncture shows rapid and lasting and the function of moxibustion display slowly and gently.the acupuncture stimulate intensity shows more powerful than the moxibustion.the experient indicate that acupuncture and moxbustion both possess good anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.It could significantly hold-up the progress of the inflammation. one of mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion immune adjustment and control is that acupuncture and moxibustion realize the two-way regulating action through adjusting PGE2,IL-1,TNF-αconductive action in nerve-endocrine-immune network. our experient make furthure research on the neuro-endocrine-immune network in the aspect of multilevels, multi-strata and multi-target,the range is still very limited.Furthe rmechanism and regulation are needed to revealdepend on us.
