Blood Tongbi Treatment Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinical Studies

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronically systemic autoimmune disease which mainly appeared as symmetrical polyarthritis.RA is characterized by chronic inflammation of synovial joints and progressive destruction of joint. They can cause multi-system damage which is seriousiy harmful to the patient's health and life. At present, the etiology and athogenesis of Rheumatoid arthritis have not be known clearly,so there still have been insufficient for effective therapy or drugs to RA in Clinical. The utmost control of inflammation and abatement of bone erosion is curative aim, although there are many adverse drug reactions. With the in-depth study of Chinese medicine pharmacology, the treatment of RA with Chinese medicine attracts more and more clinical attention. There is a wide variety of Chinese patent medicine in the clinical treating.While the clinical effect is not great because of individual differences. The traditional Chinese medicine decoction made up this shortcoming and shows obvious advantages.As to this study,it can be divided into two parts:literature summarization and clinical study. In the section of literature summarization,it reviews the nonaggressive evolution,etiology, pathogenesis and Differential Treatment of RA according to the basic theories of Traditional Chinese medicine. It also reviews the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and research in recent exhibitions of RA according to the theories of Western medicine. In clinical research component, we analyzed 54 cases.We grouped the patients and observed the curative effect of the way using Huoxuetongbi Decoction, compared with the effect of FuFang Xiatianwu Pian.The results show that Huoxuetongbi Decoction ang FuFang Xiatianwu Pian have a good effect for RA patients in the major clinical symptoms, signs, joint functional class, and RF, ESR, CRP indicators.As well as Huoxuetongbi Decoction is superior to Chinese formulated products-Fufang Xiatianwu Pian in overall efficacy.To sum up, the study stimulate the blood circulation as a common method of treating RA and creat a prescription named Huoxuetongbi Decoction. In the course of treatment, the study have different approaches to different patients,forexample:Wen Hua Han Shi, Qu Feng Chu Shi, Qing Re Qu Shi, Bu Yi Gan Shen,Yi Yuan Qu Zhuo, etc.These Treatments of rheumatoid arthritis can significantly improve the condition. They are superior to the efficacy of Chinese formulated products-Fufang Xiatianwu Pian.
