Actively explore acupuncture and Chinese medicine treating Qi and Blood Stagnation type of vertigo (vertebral-basilar artery insufficiency) of the therapeutic effect, in order to improve the clinical efficacy and to expand the scope of acupuncture treatment to provide a scientific basis. Methods:Inclusion criteria would be consistent with the 64 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups: treatment group 33 cases (Acupuncture and Chinese medicine group) and 31 cases of the control group (traditional Chinese medicine), governance is qi Huoxue, Tongluo blood. The control group treated with traditional Chinese medicine, methods, and treatment group. Clinical efficacy were observed, respectively, and the use of transcranial Doppler (TCD) testing before and after treatment in systolic peak flow velocity (Vs), end-diastolic peak flow velocity (Vd), the average peak flow velocity (Vm) and vascular pulsatility index (PI)Results:1. Acupuncture plus medicine group cure rate (39. 4%) and total effective rate (87. 88%) were significantly higher than those of Chinese medicine group (22. 6% and 70.97%), the statistical analysis (P <0. 05), with significant differences.2. Acupuncture treatment group, the left vertebral artery (LVA), right vertebral artery (RVA) and basilar artery (BA) of Vs,, Vm before and after treatment have a very significant difference (P <0.01), Vd, PI before treatment, compared to There was significant difference (P <0. 01).Conclusion:1. Acupuncture with traditional Chinese medicine can improve the Qi and Blood type of vertigo of the clinical symptoms. It has better clinical efficacy, it is worth further promotion.2.
