Objective To explore effects of Chlamydia trachomatis on local and systemic immune status Of infected in early pregnant women by detecting the experimental group and control group levels of IL-2,IL-6,IL-8 in cervical secretions and serum. Methods Women in early pregnancy who were for treatment in the out-patient of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from July 2008 to December 2008 were enrooled.Early pregnancy of CT infection in high-risk groups were carried out conventional polymerase chain reaction of Chlamydia trachomatis(CT-PCR) detection. Twenty early pregnant women with Chlamydia trachomatis-infected reproductive tract(experimental group)and 20 early pregnant women without infection of reproductive tract (control group) were enrolled. The cervical secretion and serum were collected. The levels of IL-2,IL-6 and IL-8 were detected by radioimmunoassay.Using SPSS 11.5 statistical software to analysis the datas.Mean±standard to deviate the results.Using t-tests to compare the mean between the two groups,P<0.05 means there were statistically significant difference. Results Compared with control group, the levels of IL-2 and IL-8 in cervical secretion increased in experimental group(P<0.05),but the level of IL-6 showed no significant difference between 2 groups(P>0.05).There was no statistical significance in the levels of IL-2,IL-6 and IL-8 in serum(P>0.05).Conclusion Chlamydia trachomatis-infected in patients with early pregnancy can affect the local immune of reproductive tract,IL-2 or IL-8 may be involved in the process of the local immune in early pregnant women with Chlamydia trachomatis-infected reproductive tract. Its impact on the state of the body is not significant.
