Yiqihuoxue Spleen Treatment Of Children With Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection

Paediatric recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRTI) is one of the most common and refractory diseases during children stage.It affected children's physical and mental health and development.After investigation,it was discovered that the causes of the disease were complicated.However,the therapeutic effect of this disease is significant by traditional Chinese medicine.Our research is focused on the therapeutic effect of the recipe of Benefiting Qi,Promoting Blood and Activating Spleen on RRTI.The thesis is composed of review and clinical research.In the first part of the thesis,we have a review on RRTI,including diagnosis,etiological factor and treatment.In the second part,we discussed the progress of traditional Chinese medicine on RRTI,including etiology,pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation and treatment.In addition,we selected 61 cases to have a clinical research.Objective:We investigate the therapeutic effect of the recipe of Benefiting Qi,Promoting Blood and Activating Spleen for RRTI and the changes of HMI,trace element of peripheral blood and HB in patients after the medicine treatment.Methods:61cases were selected and divided into two groups(the treatment group and the control group) randomly.The treatment group was given the recipe of Benefiting Qi, Promoting Blood and Activating Spleen,and the control group was given the recipe of YuPingFeng.We Observed the patient's syndrome and the result of laboratory examination before and after treatment,and compared the data of the treatment group with that of control group.Results were analsized by statistical soft,SAS-V8.Results:1.The recipe is definitely effective on RRTI.Total clinic effective rate was 96.77%in the treatment group,compared with the 76.67%in the control group.There was a significant difference between the the two groups(P＜0.05).2.The treatment significantly alleviated the major symptoms of RRTI(nasal obstruction and discharge,cough and stethocatharsis,pharyngeal portion unwell,fever) and the minor symptoms(eating,complexion,tongue).The difference was significant between before treatment and after treatment in treatment group by statistical analysis(P＜0.05).The similar analysis result was obtained between treatment group and control group(P＜0.05).3.IgG,IgA,HB,Zn and Fe increased greatly in the treatment group after the treatment. The difference was significant between before treatment and after treatment in treatment group by statistical analysis(P＜0.01).The similar analysis result was obtained between treatment group and control group(P＜0.05). Conclusions:The recipe of Benefiting Qi,Promoting Blood and Activating Spleen,can improve the immune function of children,reduce respiratory infections and relieve the symptoms in the RRTI therapy.
