Induced Vomiting Material Expression Of Sp And 5-ht In The Rat Medullary Organization

OBJECTIVEO To study the changing of bulbus medullae SP and 5-HT when rats were disposed by different medicine that can make people vomit and provide experimental basis for detecting the pathological mechanism of reverse ascending of Stomach—Qi.METHOD Forty healthy Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups:control 1 group, cisplatin group,control 2 group, hellebore group,copper sulfate group ,8 rats per group.The control 1 group were given saline via intraperitoneal injection(i.p.),cisplatin group were given cisplatin via (i.p.), The control 2 group were given saline via intragastric administration(i.g.), hellebore group were given concentrated solution of hellebore via (i.g.), copper sulfate group were given copper sulfate via (i.g.).6 hours later, bulbus medullae was taken out of rats.SP levels were measured with radioimmunoassay,5-HT were observed by high efficiency liquid chromatography,the expression of SP and 5-HT were detected by immunohistochemistry technique.RESULTS The content of SP in the bulbus medullae of cisplatin group is more than those of the control 1 group;there is no significance of SP concentration between copper sulfate group and control 2 group,so the hellebore group;5-HT concentration in the bulbus medullae is more than those of control 2 group;there is no no significance of 5-HT concentration between copper sulfate group and control 2 group.CONCLUSION 1. Csplatin increase SP levels in in the bulbus medullae.2. One of mechanisms of YANG deficiency of the spleen and stomach is associated with the increasing of SP levels in the bulbus medullae.3.Hellebore increase 5-HT levels in in the bulbus medullae.4.One of mechanisms of coldness in the stomach is associated with the increasing of 5-HT levels in the bulbus medullae.
