Clinical Study On The Application Of Umbilical Therapy In The Treatment Of Vomiting Associated With Chemotherapy

Objective:Through the application of traditional Chinese medicine powder preparation paste umbilical ministry,observation of curative effect of navel spreading with traditional Chinese medicine method in the treatment of chemotherapy-induced vomiting and its control of vomiting,evaluation, improvement on the quality of life and adverse reaction,thus the efficacy of medicine application on navel treatment of chemotherapy-induced vomiting provided for certain support and provide a reference for further research.Methods:Collected from 60 cases of patients hospitalized in our hospital in December 2014 to December 2015 the application of chemotherapy drugs,the selected cases were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each group the number of cases for 30 cases.Observation group:in the application of 5- serotonin antagonist(palonosetron) while giving medicine powder umbilicus;control group:only the application of 5-HT blockers(palonosetron).Through the observation on the treatment of two groups of patients after the nausea and vomiting,clinical symptoms,KPS score,adverse reactions,comprehensive assessment of TCM umbilicus therapy chemotherapy antiemetic efficacy and safety of.Results:20 cases of the observation group of 30 cases of vomiting patients were vomiting occurred in 66.67%,15 cases were vomiting,5 cases of vomiting,0 cases of vomiting;25 cases of control group 30 cases of vomiting patients were vomiting occurred in 83.33%,including 10 cases I vomit,11 cases of vomiting,4 cases of vomiting;two groups were significant different(P < O.05).Two groups of patients after treatment in the epigastric and abdominal distention after eating,poor stool,there is obvious difference between comparative clinical manifestations on TCM such as anorexia in particular, the symptoms are very smooth stool less obvious difference,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.The two groups were compared after treatment,KPS score,P<0.05,test results,there was a statistically significant difference in the control group,the observation group curative effect.Conclusions:1.5-HT blockers(palonosetron) combined with traditional Chinese medicine powder navel treatment effect for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced vomiting is superior to single 5-HT blockers(palonosetron).2.the use of traditional Chinese medicine powder coated umbilical treatment of chemotherapy related vomiting, with low price, easy to use, curative effect,less side effects and other advantages,it is worthy of clinical application.
