Objective: to explore massage therapy mechanism on functional constipation.Methods: 44 cases were randomly divided into two groups :22 cases in the massage therapy group ;22 cases in the drug group,to observe all the cases TCM. To observe the syndrome and its own dynamic changes before and after the treatment.Results: massage therapy group and drug group TCM Syndrome points were lower than before treatment (P<0.05), drug group may wish to improve significantly (P <0.05); two groups wide transmission intestine and colon than the time before treatment was significantly shortened (P<0.05). massage therapy group didn't have side effects. Two groups long-term results were poor.Conclusion: 1. massage can effectively improve the FC clinical symptoms.2. Massage and a driving force for intestinal drug similar effect and mechanism.3. Manual operation has a good potential because of their controllable, the process of comfortable and without side effects in the treatment of the disease...
