Holism Governance Focuses On The Spleen

Objective To observe the effect of Shu gan jian pi method in treating diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome (D-IBS).Methods In the clinical study, 120 patients of IBS were divided into two groups randomly. There were 60 patients in the treatment group, treated by Shu gan jian pi method . There were also 60 patients in the control group treated by Tong Xie Yao Fang. The therapeutic course was four months. The changes of clinical symptom and the quality of life were observed and compared.Results The total effective rate was 96.55%. The clinical symptoms and quality of life were significantly improved after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion Shu gan jian pi method has the effect of improving the life quality and clinical symptom in treating D-IBS.
