In order to undertand its chemical compound and give better play to its medical value, I studied on chemical compound and processing technology of the seed of cucumber.Crashing the seeds of cucumber, extracted with ethanol. The extractive gross was abstracted with petreleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butanol. Because of its major quantity in n-butanol, so I mainly sepetated this part. Using SiO2 column chromatography, thin layer chromatography etc., I get six compounds. They are Sucrose,β-Sitosterol, Daucosterol, Raffinose, Sinapyl alcohol 2-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-α-L-arabinofuranoside, Syringinoside through identificating with thin layer comparasion, NMR and other methods.Take CSB-4 as reference substance, use single facter experiment and L9(34) orthogonal design, definife its optimal processing technology is as the temperature of the pot bottom is 120℃, roasting 2min.By ICP-MS detection of inorganic element of the seeds of cucumber and its processing sample, the results showed that they have abundant microelement(Mg, Ca, Fe, K etc.) and seldom heavy metal. So we have reason to believe that the seed of cucumber is a safe and effective herb.At the basis of definition of its optimal processing technology and detection of its inorganic element,, I set up the quality standard of the seed of cucumber and its processing sample.
