Stomach cancer,a kind of malignant tumor in gastric epithelium.a most commmon kind of malignant tumor in whole word include china.The thesis discusses the syndromes diagnosed by traditional Chinese medicine on Stomach cancer from different aspects, and it can be divided into two portions: summary of documents and clinical research.1 .summary of documents: including a general summary of ancient Chinese medicine documents on Stomach cancer diseases and a general summary of documents on the progress of research in Stomach cancer by modern medicine.2. Clinical experiments:Objective: To explore the correlation between the patients' sex,the process of the disease ,type staging of syndrome and the TNM staging of stomach cancer, the diamond of tumor and variation of survival time, in order to evaluate stage of illness exactly, disembedding excessiveness of pathogenic factor or deficiency of genuine ,and further more ,to make the staging of stomach cancer objective and unified.Method: 102 patients were divided into several types which had been collected. For the time being, we also collected the results of the diamonds of tumor, variation of survival time and TNM staging. And then to analyze the correlation between the TCM distribution regularity and the results which had been referred.Results: 1 .The case of the incoordination between the liver and the stomach, and the fire due to Ying deficiency takes more than of others in the different syndromes of females. 2.The process of 50% of the incoordination between the liver and the stomach, the fire due to Ying deficiency, the syndrome of blood due to sluggishness of Qi is less than four months ; yet that of about 60% of deficiency of sleen-yang and kidney-yang or deficiency of both Qi and blood was more than four months. 3.The size of tumor of 40% of the incoordination between the liver and the stomach was less than two .centimenters. yet that of about 80% of deficiency of sleen-yang and kidney-yang or deficiency of both Qi and blood was more than five.centimentis. 4.The TCM syndrome types of gastric carcinoma had some correlation with TNM staging. That about 50% of of the incoordination between the liver and the stomach, the fire due to Ying deficiency or the syndrome of blood due to sluggishness of Qi was at the early stage, yet that of about 60% of deficiency of sleen-yang and kidney-yang or deficiency of both Qi and blood was at the late stage. 5.The survival rate of 85%. of the incoordination between the liver and the stomachwas higher 3 years .and that about 55% of the fire due to Ying deficiency or the syndrome of blood due to sluggishness of Qi was more than 3 years while that of 60% of deficiency of sleen-yang and kidney-yang or deficiency of both Qi and blood is less than 3 years .Conclusion: Stomach cancer in the old men had its distribution and variation regularity.The incoordination between the liver and the stomach was the basic syndrome at the acute stage, because of excessiveness of genuine. Accordingly,the diamond of the tumor and the survival rate was high.With the development of stage of illness, because the pathogenic factor was excessive and genuine deficient patients condition were serious and the prognosis was unfavorable.
