Objective:To seek evidence for the traditional theory of "Lung and Gut are interiorly-exteriorly related"through research on Serum IgE, Plasmacyte and MAdCAM-1 in asthma mice by "Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy.Methods: Build up asthma model by ovabumin attacking, "Jiawei Shengjiang San" as the representative formula of "Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy. After we treated the allergic asthma mice with herbs, observe lung and gut simultaneously as the train of research thoughts. Optical microscope observing for the morphologic change of lung and gut tissues; observe the content of IgE in serum through ELISA,bserve the content of Plasmacyte and MAdCAM-1 through immune of luorescence.Results: 1. Comparing with model group, the inflammatory cell infiltration and epithelium mucosae damage in the bronchus wall and its periphery is slight in "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment group, intestinal inflammatory reaction and mucosa damage on each group was not obvious. 2. Comparing with model group, the content of Serum IgE in serum of "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment group are low significantly (P < 0.01).3. Comparing with model group, the amount of plasmacyte in lung of "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment group is low obviously(P < 0.01 )and in gut is high obviously(P < 0.01).4. Comparing with model group, the expression of MAdCAM-1 in the mesenteric lymph gland of "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment group are low significantly (P < 0.01) .5. The content change of lung and gut tissues of "Feing Chang He Zhi" treatment and model group appears associativity (P < 0.05) ,and the rest has no associativity.Conclusions: 1. "Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy can restrain inflammatory cell infiltration of lung tissue and membrana mucosa damage of bronchus of allergic asthma mic. 2. "Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy can degraded the expression of IgE in serum allergic asthma mice. 3. "Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy on allergic asthma mice can inhibit the inflammatory reaction of plasmacyte in lung tissue, promote the amount of plasmacyte in gut and tone up the intestinal tract plasmacyte immunity. 4. "Fei Chang He Zhi" therapy could promote the function of MAdCAM-1 molecule in the mesenteric lymph gland of the mice with asthma, including achroacyte homing, recirculation regulating inflammatory reaction.
