| Objective: to research the mechanism of Yi Fu paste on acne and to provide experimental basis for its clinical application .Methods :First,the right ear of model rabbits had applied with coal-tar for two weeks ,then made skin pathological section , sured that acne of model was formed., and applied with Yi Fu paste for three weeks. and then observed the condition of pathology .2.using the duplum dilution method of test tube , survey the MIC and MBC 3. The paste was external used on depilating area of the back of rats, then observed the condition of intoxication and death.4.applied the paste and contrast on depilating area of the back of cavia cobaya , viewed the condition of hypersensitiveness on the skin.5. applied the test of stimulating skin . just used the paste one time. Compared the homobody with the right and left side on depilating area of the back of rabbits . Then observed whether or not have erythema or edema on the skin.Results :1. Every group were observed from the degree of keratinization,epidermis thickening's,hair follicle's distention,sebaceous gland's hyperplasia,inflammation and quantity of horn plugs. compared with the model group(P<0.05or0.01). 2. Yi Fu paste has obviously effective on Propionibacterium acnes experiment out of the body. The MIC and MBC is 32, 64 mg/ml. 3. Yi Fu paste hasn't acute toxicity, anaphylaxis and stimulus.Conclusion : We can conclude that (1). Yi Fu paste has these functions: anti-keratinization, inhibiting the sebaceous glands' hyperplasia, antiinflammatory, solution of cutin and follicular orifice of contraction (2) .It can be used safely in clinic. |
