Kawasaki Disease Of Tcm Syndrome Discussion

Kawasaki disease is called mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome.It is one of infantile rash and fever illness characterized by systematic vasculitis.It was first reported by a Japanese doctor called Kawasaki in 1967.So the disease is called Kawasaki disease.In recent years,more and more cases have been treated by Traditional Chinese medicine.The threpy effect is obvious.This retrospective study on Kawasaki disease collected 30 cases from inpatient department of two hospitals.The thesis is composed of literature review and clinical research.The firt part of the literature review gives an introduction of the present progress of the disease,including diagnosis,etiological factor and treatment. The second part contains progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the perspectives of its etiology,pathogenesis and syndrome differentiation and treatment.Famous doctors of Traditional Chinese medicine such as Bichen Liu, Suqing Li,Guosheng Zhu,Xuteng Xiao are mentioned,mainly including to the basic prescription,special threpy and combination treatment of traditional chinese medicine and western medicine.In the part of clinical research,we selected 30 cases in order and recorded name,gender,age,the duration of hospitalization,the season of incidence, inducement,symptom,course of disease,syndrome differentiation,western medical diagnostics,assisted examination and treatment.From the above research the conclusions follow as:1 The gender proportion of the 30 cases is 1.3:1.The seasonal peak is in winter and spring,account for about 76%.The age of about 80% patients is below 5 years old.The preliminary research indicates that the patients are main children under 5-year-old and the incidence rate of the disease has lowered down when the children grew up. 2 In the threpy of 30 cases the dosage of gamma globulin is 2g/kg per day in recent 5 years and 400mg/kg per day successive intravenous 4-5d before.The former did more effcctive than the latter.It indicates that the shorter the fever time is,the lower the rate of CA arteriectasis is.3 According to the law of the differentiation of syndromes of the 30 cases, it belongs to epidemic febrile disease.They are analysed and differentiated according to the state of defensive,qi,nutrient and blood phases.It is divided into three stages.The initial stage is the syndrome of both defensive and qi phases.The following stage is maculae due to warm-poison,intense heat in both qiand blood phases and phlegm obstructing collaterals.The resuming stage is insufficiency of both qi and yin and consumption of yin caused by febrile disease. 4 The method of promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis should be used at every stage of the treatment from the beginning to the end.
