Experimental Study On The Impact Of Different Frequency Electro-acupuncture On Simple Obesity Rats Indicators

The paper consists of two parts:The first part is two summaries of documents about the development of treating simple obesity with TCM and the of different frequency electroacupuncture on the actions of electroacupuncture;The second part is a experimental observation about the effect of electroacupuncture at different frequencies on simple obesity.There're two summaries of documents in this paper.The first one introduces the treatment progress of TCM in simple obesity in recent years, including herbs , acupuncture and moxibustion .The second one is about effect of electroacupuncture at different frequencies on the actions of electroacupuncture from experimental and clinical observation.Nowdays,there are many experimental and clinical observation on the simple obesity.On the contrary,the study about effect of electroacupuncture with various parameters on the actions of electroacupuncture is much less.The experimental observation part is about to investigate the effect electroacupuncture at different frequencies on some indexes of simple obesity in the rat.Methods:A total of 48 male healthy Sprague-Dawle rats were randomly divided into 2 groups, one group(8 rats)were fed with ordinary forage,the other(40 rats) were established by feeding the animal with high fat forage.After 6 weeks,the weight of rats in the group fed by high fat forage over it in the other group 20 percent were used.These rats were randomly divided into 4 groups,model group ,2/100Hz group,2Hz group,100Hz group. Ordinary forage group and model group were taken only for 10 minutes everyday,EA groups were treated with acupuncturing"housanli","neiting"apertures (both two sides)for 10 minutes everyday.The duration of each group was 10 days. After 1 course of treatment,all the rats were fasted for one night.The other day were killed to draw the materials.The body weight,body length,Lee's index, the level of BS, TG, TC,leptin were compared among each groups.The results showed that acupuncture has effect on restraining the rise of the weight of obesity rats,and there were significant differences in total effective rate among 3 acupuncture groups(P﹤0.01); acupuncture has innocence adjustment on the BS,TC , leptin; acupuncture can make auxano-adipose cell minifying. This experimentation reveals that acupuncture does have curative effect on obesity and that among the groups(2/100Hz,2Hz,100Hz),100Hz group was the best on obesity.Conclusion: electroacupuncture has effect on restraining the rise of the weight of obesity rats,and electroacupuncture of 100Hz,2/100Hz has a better effect than 2Hz; electroacupuncture has effect on lowering BS of obesity rats,and there'er no significant difference among the groups(2/100Hz,2Hz,100Hz); electroacupuncture has effect on lowering TC of obesity rats,and 2Hz group,100Hz group was better than 2/100Hz group; electroacupuncture has effect on lowering LP of obesity rats,and 2/100Hz group,100Hz group was better than 2Hz group.
