Acute Spinal Cord Injury (ASCI)is one of the main injuried disease threating human being's life,whose morbidity,disability and death rates are very high.The basic and clinical research in every country have been paid more and more attention,but the mechanism is still not clear,and still in the explorative stage now. At present there is no special effective method to treat ASCI. The acupuncture is one of the effective treatment for it,having played a very important role for it`s peculiarity.In the research,we use improved Allen's colliding equipment to get the injured rat model,applying electricity acupuncture to treat the rats,and discussing the molecular mechanism of how the electricity acupuncture improve the condition of ASCI rat and the one of how spinal cord damaged regenerate.Firstly,we give SOD test to injured tissue . Secondly,fetch the part of spianl across the injured to do proteome analysis and aim at finding out relevant different proteins.Discuss the mechanism of how electricity acupuncture affect proteome analysis,and discuss mechanism of chemistry about how the electricity acupuncture produce possible curative effect. Main results are sketched now as follows:1.Injuried part SOD contents:After 24 hous ,model group,electricity acupucture group and the medicine group were put death.Get the tissue of the injured partment to test SOD contents. Discover that contrasting with blank group,the content of SOD of model group and medicine group decreased,having very notable difference;the one of electricity acupucture group dereased too,having notable difference.Contrastiong with model group,the content of SOD of medicine group and electricity acupucture group increased a little ,but having no stastic difference.Carry out two-dimensional gel electrophoresis on the tissue across the injured spinal cord to do proteome analysis.Use the Mascot software to find out difference on the expressing protein points.Applying base material assisting laser to indentify the different points. 7 different expressed proteins were identified: 1. NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1 alpha subcomplex 10 2. DJ-1 protein 3. NDPK 4. E2N 5.TPI 6. Phosphoglycerate mutase 1 7. NF-M .Acupuncture does effect on the ASCI. These different proteins take part in repairing the way of energy metabolise, composition and hydrolization of protein, production and cleaning of free radical and reconstitution of frame of nerve cell.
