Bazhen Decoction For Clinical Research, Combined With The Benefits Biot Treatment Of Renal Anemia

OBJECTIVE: The goal of this clinical experiment is to prove themechanism and therapeutic effect of the Modified BaZhen Decoction plusr-HuEPO on treating Renal Anemia (RA), and search an effectual method ofintegrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine(ITCMWM) intreating RA.METHODS: 60 hemodialysis patients with RA were divided into 2 grorpsat random. One is Modified BaZhen Decoction plus r-HuEPO therapeuticgroup(Group ITCMWM, n=30),the other is r-HuEPO therapeutic(GroupWM, n=30), According to the requirement of CRF, both groups were treatedwith timely placement of permanent dialysis, correcting of irondeficiency, supplying folic acid and vitamin B₁₂, correcting acid-baseimbalance, Group ITCMWM took subcutaneous injection one time weekly,10000u each time, and took Modified BaZhen Decoction two times daily,300ml each time. Group WM took r-HuEPO subcutaneous injection one timeweekly, 10000u each time. The therapeutic period was 90 days. Before andafter experiment, we assaged the patients Hemoglobin(Hb),Hematocrit(Hct), Serum creatinine(Scr), Urea nitrogen(BUN), and bloodtotal protein(TP).At last observed the difference of therapeutic effectbetween group ITCMWM and group WM.RESULT: Result of the study could be summarized as: (1) After treatment,both groups could promote Hb and Het remarkably (P＜0.01), but the effectof group ITCMWMwas more significant than group WM(P＜0.05). (2) The resultof the experiment prove that either of them could improve the TP anddecrease Scr and BUN significant (P＜0.05). And the effect wasapproximated to each other on BUN and Scr. But Group ITCMWM could promoteTP more remarkably than Group WM(P＜0.01).CONCLUSION: the Modified BaZhen Decoction could improve the function of cytoimmunization, inspired erythroid colony of born marrowdeveloping, enhanced the activiation of BPO gene expression, hadenvironment of red cell existing well. so the anemic status of RA wasimproved.
