Ge Hong's Aesthetic Thought

Aesthetics theory of Ge Hong succeed to medical theory ofQin and Han Dynasty, in which there were many new theory deeplyrelated,and which prompted the academic and theoreticaesthetics theory development in South and North Dynasty andafter that period. Covenient and effective prescription besideelbow was the first book about cosmetics of traditionalchinnese medicine, both because cosmetic prescriptioncollected in the book were the earlist and uniquest andmultitudest,and because aesthetics theory in it.This paper studied aesthetics theory of Ge Hong,on theresult of his book Covenient and effective prescription besideelbow and psopuzi,and explored contribution to cosmetics oftraditional Chinese medicine that Ge Hong created.
