Minimally Invasive Poking Reduction And Implantation Into The Intra-articular Calcaneal Fractures

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical results of surgical treatment of intra-articular fractures of the calcaneus using poking reduction and artificial bone grafting technique.Methods30 cases of treatment methods in patients with recent fracture of articnlate talocalcanea calcaneus were collected and analysised from 1999.6-2005.5, including 24 catcaneal fracture in 20 males and 11 catcaneal fracture in 10 females; all cases of falling; age ranged from 20 to 64 years. According to Sanders fracture classification: there are 11 feet ofâ…¡, 15 of Sandersâ…¢, 9 of Sandersâ…£. Poking reduction and artificial bone grafting technique were performed in all cases.ResultsAll cases were followed up for 6-60 months, average 20. 7months. Evaluated by the Maryland foot score: 32fractures were excellent and good, the excellent and good rate was91.4%.ConclusionPoking reduction and artificial bone grafting technique is fit to anatomy of the calcaneus and has obvious advantage in surgical treatment of catcaneal fracture. The treating method of poking reduction and artificial bone grafting technique have many excellence such as easy to operate, satisfied curative action, few complications, thereby possess clinical popularizing value.
