There are two parts in this paper—document analysis and clinical application.Ancient documents generalizes the explanation and comments on Bore Diameter and《奇经八脉考》of different generations of doctors,discussing from the cycle, functional features disease feature and clinical application of the eight extra-hannels, and focuses on their position in tradition Chinese medicine--they are parts of veins and arteries which play important role in the process of human efficiency, thus they are the necessary factors since ancient time. The ancient documents don't have the specific and detailed description on the application range, which brings a bit of difficulties on clinical treatments.The latter part—modern document analysis generalizes the latest research of modern scholars on the eight extra-hannels, mainly focuses on the cycle of the conception vessel,ren channel and makes improvement to the theory of qiao,weichannel jiaohuixue. And gives new ideas on the cycle of the conception vessel,yangqiaochannel,wei channels since the appearance of《难经》. Besides, the paper systematizes the treatment of the eight extra-hannels, which results in fruitful achievements and makes firm foundation of clinical application.The last part investigates the theory and application of chong channel , daichannel, and focuses on their cycle features, physiological functions and disease feature respectively, it deduces the disease of chong channel into chest and belly diseases, and deduces the disease of daichannel into discharge from the womb , chongchannel flavor inverse ,gynecology diseases and breast disease and so on. What's more, it also studies nochannel jingmai――the belt channel and the chong channel, enhances the eight extra-hannels levels to clinical medicine and widens its application.
