It is a kind of good sanitarian drink and a new resource with an improtant economic and commerical values We haven' t known what is the chemical constituent which effect a cure and what is the differences between Dendranthema indicum (L. ) Des Monl var. aromaticum 'jinju' 0. H.Liu et. S. F. Zhang, and the others which have used as medicine on their qualities by now . We study on this genuine medicinal material in order to guarantee people against a risk. The research is very important for the special medicinal material on its optimizing, exploiting and synthetic utilization .We used orthogonal design, homogeneous design and supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) to study on the extracting technology of total extractions, total flavone and total volatile oil in it. The optimum extracting condition of total extraction is adding five times amount of 60% alcohol and refluxing and extracting for 2h(totally extracting for 2 times); and the best extracting technology of total extractions and total flavone are refluxing an hour with 5 times 60% EtOH for 2 times, and the best condition in SFE: extracting pressure 20Mpa, extracting temperature 39°C, releasing pressure over 8Mpa and releasing temperature 36℃. The research shows: the percentage of total extractions reachs to 47.8 and that of total flavone is 4. 73% ; the volatile oil extracted with SFE have 2.06-2.52 percent of its total weight but that amount is only 0.47-0.56 by steam distillation .The volatile oil was extracted from various species of Dendranthema morifolium by steam distillation. GC was used to determine camphor and borneol in the essential oils. The contents of total flavone in various kinds of Dendranthema morifolium were determined by spectrophotometry. The contents of volatile oil and total flavone in various kinds of Dendranthema morifolium Tzvel. were determined and the evaluation of the quality of Dendranthema indicum ( L. ) Des Monl var. aromaticum 'jinju' O.H.Liu et.
