Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of Qubai syrup in patients with vitiligo, and probe into the pathogenesis of vitiligo. Methods:1 All the patients who were selected in the research were from vitiligo outpatient department of Wuhan first hospital. They were all Qi-stagnation and Blood-stasis by Traditional Chinese Medicine.2 129 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group in accordance with the order of the clinical visits. There were 68 cases in the treatment group and 61 cases in the control group. There were no difference in sex, age, and so on between the two groups (P>0.05). And both groups were treated for 3 months.3 The Control group (61 cases) was given 2 cobamamide tablets by oral, the complex tincture of kaliziran and Hydrocortisone Butyrate Ointment by external application, 3 times a day. Based on these treatments, the treatment group (68 cases) was given 20ml Qubai syrup by oral, twice a day.4 Criteria of therapeutic effect referred to The clinical types and Criteria of therapeutic effect of vitiligo. 2003 edition was given as follows: recovery : after 5 months of the treatment, the lesion area recovers the normal skin. Remarkable effect: after 5 months of the treatment, the recovered area is accounting for at least 50% of the original area .Effect: after 5 months of the treatment, the recovered area is accounting for 10%—50% of the original area .Failure: After 5 months of the treatment , the recovered area is unchanged or not accounting for 10% of the original area .5 To count and compare the total effective rate of two groups by statistical analysis, after 5 months of the treatment.6 To record the accident and evaluate the security of Qubai syrup. Results:1 After 3 months of the treatment, the total effective rate was 80. 88% in treatment group and 63.93% in control group. There was a significant difference (P<0. 05) between the two groups shown by statistical analysis.2 the therapeutic effect of Qubai syrup was related to the clinical types, the duration of the vitiligo . The therapeutic effect of the stable vitiligo was better than the developing.3 Commonly, the normal skin became darker after 2-3 weeks of the treatment. Then the lesion area began red, island-like pigment area appears and is gradually close to and mixed with the surrounding normal skin.
