Objective:to discuss the chang of pathology and nitrogen raonoxidum in the rabbit's retinal after it is be made to be chronic intraocular hyper -tension and be injected TMP intio its points. Methods:adopting 40 healthy, grouped -up and tame rabbits ,then grouped them into five guoups at randam .They were blank group hypertension group, acupuncture groop, timolol group and TMP group.There were eight rabbits in every group. Every group except the blank group all were be injected α-chymotase into the experimented rabbits's posterior chamber and be made into the chronic model of intraocular hypertension.The blank and intraocular hypertension group was not be dealed with. The acupuncture group was be needled every day and the timolol group was be droped in their ill eyes and the TMP group was be injected TMP into their points,such as Jingming. The all rabbits' intraocular tension was be measured two times every day and worked out the average value of erery one experimented rabbit. The animals were be sacrificed after treated 15 days.The 2 enucleated eyeballs in every group were be retentined routinely,then be dehyded , enbeded , sliced , dyed wih HE and observed the chang histopathology of the retina by light microscope and eclectron microscope. The tetina of the rest eyeballs were be taked to be monitored NO's level after they were be wiped , weighted and homogenated. The TMP would be compared with other groups. Results:1 After the modes were be built, intraocular hypertension of the mode -rabbits stepped up. There was significant difference between the mode-group and normal group ( p<0. 05 ) .TMP, acupuncture, timolol group couldn't affect the hypertension in short time ( 3 days ) ( p>0. 05 ) .There was not significant difference among the treated groups( p>0. 05 ). But after long time treating(15 days),the three treating could degrade intraocular hypertension efficiently(p<0.05).There was not significant difference. The each treating group 's hypertension get close to the normal group and there was statistic significance. TMP group had not significant deviation to to the acupuncture and timolol group ( p>0.05 ) .There was also not statistical significance( p>0. 05 ).
