Ann Lung And Kidney Side Experimental Studies On The Role Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Rat Models

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD) is an important chronic pulmonary disease. Now, more people are hitted by it, and, the death rate is high. Its chronic and continuous progress influents patient's work and quality of life badly. The incidence of COPD raises recently .As the prompt development of science and technology, the study of COPD is deeper and deeper. At present, more studies of its pathologic mechanism aim airway inflammation,airwayremodeling,and oxidation/anti-oxidation and so on. But the pathologic mechanism is still unclear.Although COPD is named by modern medicine,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) has expounded its symptom and therapy in detail. My teacher, Doctor Jiang, who has affluent clinic experiences and masters lots of knowledge about TCM, expatiates the pathology of COPD: a majority of COPD is based on the deficiency of vital-qi, of which the insufficiency of lung qi,spleen qi,and kidney qi are frequent, and evil excess , which includes six evil qi,phlegm,blood stasis .The deficiency of vital-qi is the prime cause. Infection of exogenous pathogenic factors,unbalance of diet,abnormal emotion,irrationality of work and rest are inducements. Phlegm,qi,deficiency,and blood stasis are key causes in the process of disease. The COPD occurs in lung first, then it influences function of spleen and kidney, at last it hit heart and liver. Through these expatiations, Doctor Jiang pays attention to repair the deficiency of lung qi and kidney qi .He also invents"An fei yi shen capsule"to cure and prevent COPD. This study includes theory study,experiences of Doctor Jiang and experiment study ,which is a primary research for effect of"An fei yi shen capsule".In the theory study, I review and summarize literatures related pathologic mechanism of COPD in modern medicine for last six years, and dissertations about pathologic mechanism,therapy of COPD in TCM. Then it concludes COPD belong to areas of cough,asthma syndrome,swelled Feizhang and phlegm retension syndrome , which is a disease of vital-qi deficiency and evil excess.In the part of Doctor Jiang's experiences, I sum up his theories and methods in the cure of COPD.
