Chronic Sinusitis (type Ii) Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Postoperative Cavity Medicine Rinse The Clinical Efficacy Observed

Objection To observe the clinic effect of Chinese herb swilling the nasal cavity to the chronic sinusitis Ⅱ (CSⅡ) patients after their therapy of FESS, including the symptoms and the signs.Methods After the FESS, all the eighty CS Ⅱ cases had been randomly classed two groups: the test group and the controlled group, every group contains 40 patients. The patients of the test group had given the Shanbangtong nasal cavity swilling medicament (produced by the Chengdu Shanbang biology-science and technology Ltd.) to swill there noses, two times every day. While the patients of the controlled group had given the same treatment with 0.9% NS and the gentamicin. Our treatment had lasted for one month and observed the patients' changes of their symptoms and signs.Results The results shows the total curative effect of the two groups has no dominant indifference(The total efficiency rate of the test group is 95% and that of the controlled group is 87.5%).But after the Chinese herb therapy, the period of treatment of the test patients is shorten compared with that of the controlled group.
