To study the effects of Intβ3 and survivin on the occurrence of adenomyosis. Methods: The expression of integrinβ3 subunit and survivin in endometrium and EMI with or without adenomyosis and ectopic endometrial tissue were assessed by immunohistochemical staning. Results: (1)expression of integrinβ3 and survivin both showed a significant cyclic variation. (2) The expression of intβ3 in endometrium of adenemyosis was weaker than that in normal endometriun, while in ectopic endometrium was stronger than in eutopic. The expression of survivin in ectopic endometrium of adenomyosis was significantly stronger than those in normal endometrium and eutopic endometrium. (3)Fewer intensity of intβ3 and higher intensity of survivin were observed in EMI than those in the eutopic endometrium far away from myometrium of adenomyosis. Conclusion: Integrinβ3 and survivin are closely related to the cyclic change of shape and function in normal endometrium and may play an important role in physiological homeostasis in the normal endometrium. The change in expression of Integrinβ3 and survivin from eutopic to EMI, to ectopic endometrium may play an important role in the pathogenesis of adenomyosis. | Keywords/Search Tags: | adenomyosis, endometrium, integrin beta3, survivin, EMI | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
