Using prospective research method and retrospective research method, the study had adeep and particular research into curative effect on lung cancer patients who had been treatedby a new therapy method, TCM combining with Argon-helium cryoablation. The result canoffer some help with the clinic applications of the new therapy. The study tries to find out thevirtues and shortcoming of the new therapy method.According this, enhancing the efficacy andenlarge the methods of lung cancer's therapy, especially for the stage III/IV lung cancer. The results of this study are as follows:[1]The evaluation of CT:①CT monitoring insurgery:Totle effective rate was 90.8%.②CT monitoring after surgery:The effective rate after3 months was 82.3%;The effective rate after 6 months was 70.4%;The effective rate after 12months was 63.0%.③According to the WHO's sdandard of entitative tumours: The effectiverate after 3months,6months and 12months,was 18.5%,20.9% and21.7%.[2]Karnofskygrade:After 1month to 3months,there were obvious improvements; After 6months to 12months,the improvement rate was reduced and the deterioration rate was increased.Quality of life:After 1month to 6months, there were obvious improvements; After 12months, there were notobvious improvements.[3]The symptoms of cough, chest pain, bloody sputum, lacking strength, shortness of breath were increased after 7days;All symptoms had obvious improvements after1month to 3months; After 6months to 12months, shortness of breath and inappetence wereincreased, others were relieved.[4]The main TCM syndrome of lung cancer was the compoundof the repletion and deficiency syndrome,With the main manifestation of deficiencysyndrome(Qi vacuity and Yin vacuity),phlegm syndrome(phlegm-heat syndrome andphlegm-moist syndrome ) and blood stasis syndrome. Three days later after surgery, Qivacuity and Yin vacuity were increased;the phlegm syndrome met a short-time change,manifestingphlegm-heat syndrome increased and phlegm-moist decreased.2weeks later aftersurgery, all syndromes had not obvious improvements.[5]Survival time evaluation:there were45 survived and 20 died in 65 cases. The moderate survival time of the stage IV lung cancerpatients after cryosurgery was over 6.6 months, and total survival time was over 15.3months.[6]The treatments were completed on 65 patients without severe side effects. Conclusion:[1]The new therapy method had true curative effect.[2]Qi deficiency, phlegmsyndrome and blood stasis syndrome were the main TCM syndrome before and aftercryosurgery.TCM can strengthen the body resistance, reduce the side reaction and eliminate thetoxic materials.[3]The association of cryosurgery and TCM is a method combine focaltreatments with systemic treatments which is worth delivering widely as a new project of lungcancer treatment.
