Artificial Liver Support Joint Clinical Research Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Liver Failure

Aim: To improve the therapeuticl effect of hepatic failure.Methods: In the base of routine medicine treatment, the cure group of HF patients were treated with HDF.Using recently inproved membrane, one or two per week, in the meantime the patiens were washed rectumor or portal ostium with Chinese medicinal herbs decoction before or behind HDF.the control group was treated with routine medicine.Results: Among 26 cases of cure group, there were 14 cases cure and 8 cases better turn, the rate of cure was 53.8%.the rate of cure and better turn was 84.6%.the average of decrease in Tbil was 82.1umol/L after two HDF on week. Among 22 cases of control group, there were two cases cure and 6 cases better turn, the rate of cure was 9%, the rate of cure and better turn was 36.4%, the average of decrease in Tbil was l0umol/L after one week.Conclusion: Artificial liver support combined with Chinese medicine in treating HF could improve the rate of clinical cure and better turn about HF.
