A Clinical Report Of Treatment With Artificial Liver Support System In 50 Liver Failure Patients

ObjectTo study the effect and safety of artificial liver support system(ALSS) in treating with liver failure patientsMethodsTreat 50 patients with liver failure in the first affiliated hospital of ZheJiang University from 2008-2010. After admission, these patients were given conventional internal medicine treatment, before and after the ALSS therapy,symptoms and signs of all patients, and blood test of ALT, AST, AKP, TBil, PT were closely observed.ResultAfter the treatment of ALSS, The symptoms and mainfestiation of patients improved.lab test shows a remarkable decrease of ALT, AST, AKP, TBil, and PT level (P<0.01). The effectiveness in early phase, meta phase and late phase liver failure patients are 84.6%,79.0% and 43.4%.ConclusionArtificial Liver Support System is a effective treatment for liver failure. The best time for the therapy is the early phase or the meta phase of liver failure.
